A girl stares out to sea and dreams of a new life beyond her lonely island. Myth and reality collide when the tide washes a mysterious stranger onto her beach.
Recently closing off Broadway, Islander is an innovative award-winning musical that transports audiences on a magical journey combining a contemporary Scottish folk/pop-inspired score and epic storytelling. Passion Productions will present Islander at PIP Theatre in Brisbane, directed by Connor Clarke.
Set in the misty isles of Scotland, this innovative musical sees two actors playing 26 characters, harnessing looping technology to create a dazzling and unexpected soundscape and envelope the audience in an epic story.
