Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?! Phoenix Ensemble is bringing SpongeBob SquarePants and his friends to the Tin Shed stage in Beenleigh, starring in a quirky Broadway musical for the whole family.
Based on the hit Nickelodeon animated series, and featuring music written by legends such as David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper, Panic at the Disco! and more, The SpongeBob Musical will showcase local creative talent from all over South East Queensland, including a cast of 22 performers.
The stakes are high, as SpongeBob and all of Bikini Bottom face the total annihilation of their undersea world. Chaos erupts. Lives hang in the balance. And just when all hope seems lost, a most unexpected hero rises up and takes centre stage. The power of optimism really can save the world!
