Lynch & Paterson bring Jesus Christ Superstar, the mega musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, to Brisbane as it celebrates its 50th anniversary since the original concept album.

This global blockbuster tells the story of the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ from the perspective of Judas Iscariot. As Christ’s followers grow more fervent, Judas must make his fateful choice between faith and betrayal. This imagining of the biblical tale is filled with a mix of musical styles that draw upon 1970s rock, gospel, folk, and funk, including Heaven On Their Minds, I Don’t Know How to Love Him, Everything’s Alright and Superstar.
