Many of us are now self-isolating at home, possibly with much more time on our hands than usual. Getting creative, whether it is picking up an old hobby again or trying out a new one, can help us to feel more relaxed, productive, and focused. Personally, I’ve returned to a half-finished crochet project with new determination, and have also been stitching the binding on my very first quilt.

Below is a list of some creative goodness delivered right to your door (or available online) that support Brisbane locals as well as giving you new skills and creations!

Earring Care Kits by Lazer Unicorn

Pre-orders are open for Make at Home DIY Kits, so you can have the Lazer Unicorn workshop experience in your own home! Choose your theme (Flora & Fauna – Starry Night – Fruity Fruits), select your kit size, and get to making yourself some marvellous earrings! Lazer Unicorn Alex is  also working with local suppliers where possible to get all the items needed for the kits.

Home Painting Kits by Bonnie Hislop

Creative and ceramicist Bonnie Hislop’s brightly painted kitties have become something of an icon, and now you can paint your own cat planter at home! Pre-orders are open for these and the Iced Vovo Dish(LOVE), and you can purchase Pet Portrait Earring Home Painting Kits as well.
