West End institution Lychee Lounge was taken over by a new owner nine months ago, and on Wednesday night I was fortunate to attend the they launched a menu featuring 39 new cocktails.
I’m sure I’ve walked past this bar many times, but never stopped in. Red and gold lights, and lots of comfy cushions to lounge on.
We sampled the Boundary Street Punch (Finlandia grapefruit, marmalade, Gewurztraminer, passion fruit, blood orange) and Pavlova (vodka, citrus, tropical fruits and vanilla meringue).

On the second round we tried out the signature Lychee Lounge Martini (vodka, lychees and sweet fresh citrus) and FIGJAM (house-marinated Turkish figs, cognac, Pedro Xomenez, fresh apple and pepper). All de-licious!

As you can see, the presentation of all of the cocktails is gorgeous! I’m a sucker for edible flowers, and meringue. Drinks ranged in price from $12-$17 and the service was friendly and attentive. Good vibes and good times!
