A Doll’s House
15 – 30 November 2025
Manly-Lota RSL Hall, Manly
Written in 1879, Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House is a landmark in modern drama. Set in a Norwegian town in the late 19th century, the play explores timeless themes of gender roles, marriage, societal expectations, and individual freedom. At its heart is Nora Helmer, a seemingly devoted wife and mother who begins to question her role within her marriage and the limitations imposed on her by society leading to a secret being uncovered. This community theatre production, directed by Sophie Parker, will explore the classic play in a fresh and innovative way.
