A Night with the Villains
30 October – 2 November 2025
Ron Hurley Theatre, Seven Hills
Fresh from its Matilda Award nomination, A Night With The Villains is back in 2025 – bolder, darker and with more parody than ever before, where the bad guys get the spotlight and audiences can vote for their favourite villain.
Brisbane audiences will once again descend into the underworld for the city’s ultimate Halloween parody concert. With all-new villains, riotous comedy and spine-tingling reimaginings of Broadway’s darkest hits, this year’s show promises another unforgettable night out.
Award-winning director and producer Elodie Boal leads the chaos, creating a high-energy theatrical event that packs parody and camp villainy into one trick-or-treat package.
“This show has grown into a true Halloween tradition in Brisbane,” said Boal. “After another year of success in 2024, we had to return again with something even bigger. We have a brand-new line-up of villains, more pop culture parody and plenty of surprises. The show keeps going from strength to strength.”
Also returning for the third season are choreographer Jennifer B Ashley, costume designer Jackie Fredericksen, makeup and hair designer Rosie Humphreys and lighting designer Tony Kerr. Rae Rose joins the company this year as Musical Director.
This year’s cursed company introduces a new host, Hades, Lord of the Dead, alongside new villains like Lord Farquaad, Maleficent, Queen of Hearts, the Evil Stepsisters and more.
The production features performances from Kennedy Foley, Peter Wood, Jaya, Jett Sansom, Ashleigh Mitchell, Aimee Duroux, Lucy Ross, Reagan Warner, Leo Mylonas, Ruby Thompson, Kelsey Todd, Beau Wykes, Ally Hickey, Chelsea Guard and Eleanor Grieve.
