35MM: A Musical Exhibition is a unique multimedia musical, written and composed by Ryan Scott Oliver, that pairs each lyrical narrative with a photograph by Matthew Murphy, crafting a tapestry of poignant vignettes that unfold in a melody.
Each photo inspires a unique song, moments frozen in time; a glimmer of a life unfolding, a glimpse of something happening. This intricately woven collection of stories told through song re-imagines what the modern musical can be.
The Brisbane production at PIP Theatre is directed by Harrison Allen with musical direction by Seán Fagan and stars Aurélie Roque, Rae Rose, Mabelle Maynard, Tomer Dimanstein, Connor Clarke, Samantha Sherrin, and Bethanie Walsh.
