Southern Cross Soloists’ Divine Alchemy concert will delve into the realm of beauty emerging from unexpected sources, presenting a musical journey forged in the crucible of adversity. This concert also features guest soloists, award-winning Pianist Konstantin Shamray and prize-winning NZ violinist Amalia Hall.

The concert program includes works by Bach, Debussy, and Mozart, as well as the Australian premiere of Élégie by French film composer Thibaud Vuillermet. Divine Alchemy also includes a new work through the SXS Didgeridoo Commissioning Project, inspired by the life of Wakka Wakka Elder, Maureen Williams – The Wise Woman, composed by Sean O’Boyle AM and Chris Williams, honours Chris’s grandmother, Auntie Maureen Williams.
