Pallas Sister Rising is a raw new work by emerging Australian playwright Grace Wilson, directed by El Waddingham. Taking the myth of Pallas Athena and rocketing it into the 21st century, Pallas Sister Rising delves into how abuse manifests in woman, becoming a brutal exploration of what happens when two women of divine nature get too close. Relatable and tragic to a level that only Greek mythology can reach, playwright Grace Wilson said: “If you have ever felt alone in a relationship, if you have loved unrequitedly, if you have been so stuck you cannot leave, if you have ever found yourself waiting by the door – this show is for you.”
