Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra will open 2023 with a passionate, energetic program that showcases the radiance of strings.

Heartstrings will showcase Tchaikovsky’s romantic Serenade for Strings, Frank Martin’s rarely-performed Etudes for Strings (no.2), and the Camerata debut of Jessie Montgomery’s Starburst for string orchestra. Camerata will also be joined by wind musicians and pianist Alex Raineri to perform Copland’s nostalgic and quintessentially American Appalachian Spring.
